I hit a big indoor flea market north of where I live yesterday and picked up this vintage 1950's ?? Elgin American sterling lighter. It was priced at $24.00 even, so with tax it cost me around $25.00. It's not just a sterling cover, but the insert is also labeled sterling. I like it and if I go to sell it, I'm fairly sure it would sell for more then I've got in it.

Great lighter!!! I just bought a collection from Goodwill 3 dollars a piece. I think more and more will be showing up at the thrift stores as smoking is not as popular as it was. I scored a nice Dunhill and some great Ronsons. I would love to find a silver one. Nice find.
