Headed back to the beach and hit the same thrift stores as last weekend. I couldn’t believe it when I saw this stack of sterling coasters for $6. Then I saw Tiffany & co!! First Tiffany Sterling (besides frames) for me. I then saw this ring for $6 with 25% off and am fairly certain it is gold. I will have to test when I get home. Finally they had a $10 Bulova also at 25% off. Balance is good, just needs a mainspring and service which I have and can do. Love the copper dial. These stores are the best! Good Florida TS pickings. I picked up a thin flat band gold ring very much like this one you found. It was 5 and change and had marks. I was positive it was gold and confirmed later the marks were Austro -Hungarian gold marks. I sold it though back when gold was going up in price on a daily basis. I like that rose gold color of that Bulova.

Awesome! The Tiffany Coasters are sweet. I bet they just thought they were dirty old things.

The ring acid tested to 10 karat gold. One of the stones missing in several look like they were replacement stones that were glued in. Just scrap but at 2.8 g for $4 I’ll take it.
