I stopped by another goodwill that I will occasionally frequent and happened to spy this in the housewares section.

What it is remains a mystery but I do know that whoever made it had some serious talent. That wasn’t an easy shape to make, especially out of mahogany. The stand might be rosewood or some other dark tropical flavor.

The only markings I could find was a signature in metallic paint pen on the inside of one leg. My best guess is this is a purely artistic piece mad by a local craftsman and was sold at a fair or craft show.

If the maker could be identified, I would be estatic. If somebody could put some sort of name/stay to the piece, it would make my night.

Appears to be teak wood on my opinion. That's all I have I guess.
