local TS had 33.8 grams of sterling in the shape of a small finger bowl for $1.18, by S. Kirk and Son, and three silver plate bowls, two by B Rogers Silver company and one by National Silver co.(silver on copper) for the same $1.18 each.

Don't know what I'm gonna do with the bowls as I don't have an ebay account, but I thought maybe craigslist would help me lose them for a small price.

I know it's not much but it broke the ice. :dontknow:

Let the addiction commence! Yeah craigslist or sell em at ur own garage sale for $5 each. I’d guess i would check to make sure it wasn’t a popular pattern first, but it’s unlikely. But no biggie because There are still tons of ppl who buy mass produced, non-popular pattern silver plated stuff thinking it’s valuable.

Great find on the sterling bowl. The plates stuff doesn’t sell well so you might want to pass on those.
