For $3.88.

Looked at a tray and this just stood out...when I picked it up I moved the tag and it was engraved DO .50 on the side.
Very hard to see...so I decided to take a chance on it. When I got home I realised it was also stamped 14K L on the other side!

Tested positive with an acid test. I dont have any expensive testers but the detail on it is amazing under a loupe!
I just wish I knew who made it.

Vhoov,

That's a beauty and appears to be a custom design. Well worth having a reputable jeweler test it for you.

Dhoov,

Do you have a scale for measuring grams? In any event if it's legit the current scrap value for 14k is $18.84 US per gram and just a wild guess I'd say that one should weigh at least 10 grams.

Vhoov,

That's a pretty good return for what you spent. Odds are if it's legit you should be able to sell it privately for more than melt.

Hoping so, I bought a ring yesterday at a yard sale a few houses up the street yesterday.

I payed 150 for it. Hoping I can turn a profit on that one as well.

BTW, spot is $22+ a gram. For 14K anyway. Nice ring!
Yeah, even at melt value I will make something. This is my personal best.

Will try and sell as is though, should be able to easily double melt as Bill has said.

Thanks for checking it out Drmad!

That’s a sweet ring! Am I seeing little diamonds too? Or is that part of the design? I agree on double melt - it looks like a good seller.
