Found this last week at a goodwill.
It is not marked, but tested sterling.
The ring has the word
Harvard and flowers engraved onto it.
Possibly from Harvard University?

That's cool, Harvard U is a good possibility. I'd look it over real good. The makers name and sterling might be hiding in all that blackened silver or very worn off from constant cleaning when it was being used.

Nice find. What tester do you use? I have found a bunch of 925 stamped items and there's 1 or 2 that look suspicious.

The ivy on the back is a clear giveaway it’s from Harvard or from someone who went there. That’s where Ivy League comes from.

Is it a napkin ring? I wonder if it was used to keep a diploma rolled up during presentation at graduation. Might be worth looking into.
