I went to several thrift stores today and for around 11 dollars I got these 4 items, a tigers 88 drinking glass, a 1964-1965 new York world's fair plate, a planters 75th anniversary jar, an carnival glass

Cool old stuff. I think that's half the fun in looking through a TS and seeing things of the past and remembering when it was new. When I was a kid in grammar school in the 1960s, we'd always get a lesson in what's happening at the world's fair or read about it in life magazine. I always wanted to go to one, but never got the chance.
