Info needed on jade piece

I came across this awhile back. At the time, it was a busted brooch. My landlord fixes jewelry, so he cleaned it and turned it into a pendant for me. It is genuine jade. As you can see from the photo of the back, it’s cracked. But they do not go all the way through.

Can anyone give me any info on this, based on styling?

I believe its Chinese set in what looks like gold plated sterling, because it's marked as such. There are several green colored rocks that are considered jade, but for what you have I'm not sure. I'm guessing that piece was made from as early as 1930s into the1950s and I say that because I've had other items like it that were set in 10k gold which I think were older, but it could be the carved stone is decades older than the setting. Definitely a neat piece of jewelry.

Thanks for the input. It’s not gold plated. It’s just the lamp light baking it look that way. Just regular sterling.
