I dug through a basket of silver plated forks spoons and knives and pulled out this rather modern looking fork. I saw the hallmarks and immediately recognize the Dutch lion passant for 833 silver. I was shocked to look up the date code of 1827. The funny thing was most of the forks were priced at $.99 and the one silver one was priced at $.50. Go figure. The little cheese server is sterling handled. note it is marked on the blade not on the handle. The sterling Silpada earrings were bonus. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1583591622.204767.jpg
