Home safe and sound here, actually just woke up and all I did was lay down for a few minutes when we got in. Stan, a BIG thanks to you and your family and all that pitched in to make this a great hunt and get together. Perfect weather, perfect friends and a grand time. My A$$ really wants to make the Florida hunt now! Thanks again and pictures to follow!

Re: Farewell my CTH2 friends.
Burdie hon,
Speaking for myself, I feel the same way!
Catching up with friends who don't care if you're a "half bubble off-plumb" (it might be a requirment for detectorists, actually) -
The generosity of spirit is what really gets me, every time we get together. Everyone is glad to see what the *other* guy has found! Tickled when they can show off their own finds, but just as tickled for others.
You've done one heck of a job, Burdie. And the weekend went way too quickly!
all the best,
Nan

Re: Farewell my CTH2 friends.
Thank you Stan for having the courage to once again host all of Rowdy Bunch members!
We made it home safe and sound. I did miss not getting to come back on Sunday and hunt a little more but it was a LONG ride home.
I really enjoyed catching up with everyone again and meeting some new people. Won't be at the January Hunt.
Oh yeah Dylan and Crescent wanted to thank everyone for making them feel at home. You are all a great bunch of people.
Thanks again Stan.

Re: Farewell my CTH2 friends.
Stan,
You are one of a kind and I feel honored to be one of your friends.... You did so much (with help, can't forget the others) this hunt and made us all feel at home... I always feel at home with my Rowdy Bunch friends old and new alike! The comaraderie we all share when we are together is second to none! It's truly my pleasure to be assosiated with you all.
Once again to all, thank you so much for your generosity with the Inauguration Support! You will all get a nice thank you letter from Kelsey in the near future.. I will be sure and post some pics of the event.
I meant what I said when I called us a family. We are all truly one big family!!!!!!!!!
Family,
Look forward to our next reunion!
Oh, and nothing to report on the Rowdy Bunch from the wrong side of the tracks this time. You all have to hope for better tales from the next hunt....!!!! LOL!!!
Found myself once, and it wasn't even with the DFX!!!!!

Re: Farewell my CTH2 friends.
As I kept telling Mental Granny...."I made it!".....ABSOLUTELY super happy to have made it to this hunt......FINALLY!!!
And....as I told you, Stan..................I may not have found a gold ring or a cannon ball (and a "VIKING" one at that.......), but I did get to meet the most fantastic group of people and friends........EVER!!!!
Thank you, Stan................thank you for allowing us to come into your heart and share some time with you. You are the greatest.

Re: Farewell my CTH2 friends.
Wanted to drop in and tell you how much I appreciated all your hospitality Burdie. Once again, you made it happen and it was fantastic. I wish we could have made the Sunday hunt, but we had a long commute and and felt lucky to share in the festivities for a day. Great food, great prizes, and great friends. I feel sorry for those individuals who could not make it.
I need to throw out a very special thank you to Warsaw Daddy! If not for his generosity in offering me a room to stay in, I would not have been able to attend. He truly personifies all that is good about this sport and on line family. God Bless You Ron!!!
Thanks again Burdie and everyone instrumental in making this hunt a success. Thanks Mastereagle for his hard work in attaining prizes as well. I don't often give him a compliment, but must here. Finally, thanks to everyone for your compliments regarding my art work. I appreciate all your kind words.

Re: Farewell my CTH2 friends.
Jr and I made it home. Jr was so thrilled and excited he is already wanting to go hunting next weekend (at grandma's place).
Stan, your efforts and time is greatly appreciated. You and your family put their heart and soul into this. It was noticed in every aspect.
It is nice to meet old and new friends. So many people and so little time. I hope to see you again.

Re: Farewell my CTH2 friends.
Stan, You and your family are the greatest? So are all the tnet members who were able to attend the hunt. It was so good to meet all the ones I already knew through the net and without the CTH II they would still be print on the monitor. What would we have done before computers? God bless you , I love you all. And thanks for changing my luck! I tried to clandestantly rub everyone on the head except for a couple I couldn't reach and I musta' got the right one. Thinking back I believe it was the Gypsyettes! Thanks girls! Stan, see you at the casino soon? I know I will if "Momma" has anything to say about it. Monty
