This is a F.Y.I. to all Local (Houston and Surrounding Areas) Treasure Hunters That I am Going to Be at Stewart Beach on Saturday May 9th at 5am to do a Little Treasure Hunting. I want to get there early before all the Beach Goers get there. If you are interested in going, you are more than Welcome to Join In. As They Say "The More The Merrier".
I am a Newbie and gettin' tired of practice hunting in my backyard.

Oh Well, I went to Galveston Saturday 5/9 and found Nada, Zilch, Absolutely Nothin'. My Girlfriend Found a Dime In The Ladies Restroom, Go Figure. I Still Had Fun and Got Some Needed Exercise and got out of Town for a Couple of Hours. The time to go to Galveston to Treasure Hunt is Definitely Early in the Mornin'. There were no Busy Bodies and I Met (1) Other Person that lives in Galveston and Uses a White's Metal Detector. What a life "Live On The Beach and Treasure Hunt Whenever You Want" just watch out for them there Hurricanes. I am already plannin' on goin' again To Stewart Beach next Saturday 5/16/2009 at 5am. If Interested in joinin' in, your more than welcome. I Know There is Treasure In That There Sand and I Ain't Givin' Up.

I really don't think Galveston Skunked me , I Think I skunked myself somehow because I would get low to medium beeps and the depth meter would max out (over 8") but I would find Nothin'. I even dug a hole at the waters edge to my elbow (17") and found nothin', but I did here someone speaking Chinese. I am still figuring out the Great Hobby Of Metal Detecting and my Ace 250. Practice, Practice, Practice I have alot to learn. I am just Thankful my girlfriend found that dime in the restroom or it really would have been an Embarrassing Day,
Oh yea, By the way the dime was a 1995P Roosevelt in Good Condition. I Know you were just dying to know this info,
