day one of the tri state hunt .mt. vernon il

nice little hunt in s illinois put on by tri state

metal detecting club and m's treasure shop

out of fairfield il.

nice weather to begin with but quickly worsened

ok for the warm up hunt ..then the tornado siren

several times..


35 dollar entry netted

46 silver dimes and 3 tokens

1 in each hunt

which were good for

portable electronic pocket scale

lg pizza from pizza hut

free chance on raffle for silver and gold
but didnt win

got 11 dimes 1 token 1st

2nd a progressive hunt ,found me somescatterd

can slaw and got to the money field late

only 7 dimes but the token was the scale

i think these run about 20 bux new ?

on the third hunt it was raining hard so i decided

to not use the silver umax.

wow im glad i did. itook the pirate out .

couldnt find me a plastic bag. so the water detector

this baby much hotter for signals than the silver

maybe its just that u can turn the volume up loud

or the detector pro headphones

anyway got 29 silver dimes and 1 token

takin pix which ill post later due to patch cord left at home

not many hunters here maybe 35 or 40
wish u were here
