    Camp Otterville, MO, Hunt & Other Finds

    The first 3 pictures are of the hunt site from JD's hunt this past weekend.

    I dug 6 of the larger sized musket balls, one of which was unfired. And one other fired bullet as well as some smaller musket balls and misc. melted lead. I also got an Eagle I button. It is soaking right now.

    The next picture is of my finds from JD's hunt. Big thanks to him and the owners of the property for having the hunt! We all had fun!

    The final picture shows the two Indian Heads I dug Sunday while stopping at various locaitons on the way back to Indiana. One is soooo cruddy that I can't make out any details but some of the wreath on the back. The next one is 1902.

    I dug the third Indian today in a church yard. The year is 1874 and one I needed for my set!

    This puts me at 66 Indians on the year. I also dug 4 wheats today and 1 on Sunday. This puts me at 380 for the year.

    VERY nice finds, 66 IH's this year? now thats SUPERB!!!! not sure where I am at for them on the year but am up to 42 out of one site I;ve been hunting off and on for the last month...gold is best,silver is great, but gotta love those IH's as well.....GREAT job!!!! Couple more months left in this year, hopefully you can top 100 for the year...
