There is a sand dune in East Albany off Sands Drive that is eroding. If you are coming from downtown Albany, turn right onto Sands Drive, go past the buildings and it is the first dune on the left. Home of Fort Hill. We've hunted it hard but, stuff still shows up from time to time. I've gotten an eagle button there and a few silver coins. You will know your in the right place when you see broken bricks and scattered period glass.Good luck and be aware it is in the hood. If you find something cool, please post it!
