Most know I spent a good deal of time in the woods searching and hunting those keys. I and others around me found many cool pieces of farming iron from years gone by. Noodle has a few pieces for yard art that was carried in and given to remind her of her kin. There was quite a bit as others brought it and put it on my tailgate. We left Dan with a good garbage bag of scrap metal.
My favorite find and my memento of the hunt is this horseshoe I dug in the woods along the bayou bank. It still has the remnants of the nails in it.

REUNION FOR THE LBH COMING UP!!
It's time for the reunion event ! It's been a whole 2 weeks and there's no point waiting a whole year for it to happen again so plans are now being formed for the reunion !!! If we wait a whole year we could be dead by then. Who knows what could be going on in our lives in a year. Strike now while the iron is hot !!! It's not full summer yet, the grass hasn't grown too tall and some of us are suffering the La Bayou Hunt Blues !!! Plans will be coming up soon for the 1st annual Reunion La Bayou Hunt !!! Stay tuned......

At least you won't have to worry about gas prices then... you could probably put that stuff in the gas tank and fly your vehicle like a rocket to Louisiana!
