Whats up everybody! I have been around but busy, heres my latest finds. Couple minies (one is another Star Based), some bottles, a very strange "T" shaped piece of melted lead, and this iron piece with gears...Any ideas what it is? It looks like it powered a rod or drill maybe as it has a small hole in the bottom plate right below the gears. Nothing special but I have some BIG SPOTS planned out and picked for this season that is just about upon us!!! Stay tuned my friends! Please comment on the iron piece

Cool digs, the gear piece looks like the top of a butter churn. My mom has my grandmothers still. I belive they are called Daisy churns.

Nice digs Josh. I was thinking Butter churn or meat grinder.I remember my third grade teacher brought a butter churn in and we all took turns cranking it and the butter was great. The figure looks like superman.

Nice digs Civ - I'll go with butter churn top as well. Some nice lead you got there too! Hope to post some "firsts" of the CW type soon. They still haven't cut the tobacco yet. Looking forward to your next banner post (sure to come soon)...

Nice finds Josh! Keep going back to that field, it could surprise you!
Since many guesses have been made about your iron thing, my guess is also a meat grinder.
I used to make butter on the farm when I was small and never saw such a thing around milk, I thing because the rust and stuff.
So put me down for meat grinder and let us know who wins!

I never looked in my bullets, maybe I should do that! Great photo of the star, guess it took a few before you got it in focus..
Keep digging...
