Met a nice old couple down the street yesterday who invited me over to detect their early 1800 house this afternoon. Only got to do a small part of their yard, but found an odd combination of stuff. An Ever Ready saftey razor from 1914, part of a Walter Johnson Baseball board game spinner, horse harness buckle, a "2nd" quality button ( I have only seen top quality or first quality ones before),an 1884 indian head a 1955 silver canadian dime (a least its silver) and nine wheaties. It was so nice, no clads and only two memorials, both copper not zinc. Have to get back there again...Lance

Nice stuff, Comfy. I'd be visiting that nice old couple again real soon.

What's the ground conditions there in Vermont. Here in PA it's still so dry, I'm afraid to dig anyone's yard.
