Found this one in my own yard yesterday afternoon. This yard (previously old farmland) has given me quite an array of coins over the past year...this is the best one yet. Can't believe how small this coin is.
Any guesses on what this coin would grade at??

I know one thing, I am really loving this Explorer SE pro....it is quite a machine!

Thanks for looking!

Now THAT'S a pretty coin. :o

Well done. (and also well-recovered too--it is so easy to get scratches on the high-quality silver coins, and I don't see any evidence if it being in the ground).

Beautiful bust dime,

I'd say EF and you did a great job of not scratching it up.

man thats an awesome coin my friend.... I couldnt believe how small they are either when I found my first half dime....I hit 2 last year.. both seated ...... 1843 and the other was VERY worn with no date visible.... thing was.. my XLT showed them both as being way depper than they were.... very fortunate not to scratch them.... most machines are designed to give a depth reading based on a typical coin size... since the half dimes are so much smaller.. they show as being deeper than they are in most cases... congrats man!

Awesome coin and nice pics. Even at that magnification only a few hairline scratches are barely seen.
I nominated your find for the banner

Man, that thang was dropped in 1833! Great looking coin. Throw the penny away where it won't corrode.
