YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS...........
Cru'Dad went back to the field looking for the top of the Saxon Brooch (thankfully still no visible crop).
He didn't find the rest of the brooch but he did get his first Celtic Gold & our second this year. 2 hours & no roman coins

In theory I would.
But its a fair drive away & with the dark nights we can't make it after work & the game will be over by Saturday. It will wait unless some of the people walking by (& there was loads down this lane) got wind of a good site.

For Iron Age technology, I think they did pretty good. Mine was 5.34g & Dads 5.37g & they were suppose to be 5.4. Amazing for what the Romans called barbarians. (I do realise you meant off-centre, but it hardly mattered to them)

I wasn't expecting the banner & its not why I post on here but I do appreciate it. These are the only 2 Gold Celtic Coins we have ever had & to get them in the same year & miles & miles apart is shocking to say the least.
