Cru'Dad went back to the field looking for the top of the Saxon Brooch (thankfully still no visible crop).

He didn't find the rest of the brooch but he did get his first Celtic Gold & our second this year. 2 hours & no roman coins

way to go cru-dad, we'll just call him bannerman and you banner boy. as I've said before you never cease to amaze me, and yes I agree totally with your barbarian statement. it's kind of like tha spanish and the mayas and us with the american indians just because they were different they call them barbarians or savages. I often wonder just how much we could have learned from these people had we truly "came in peace".
