Old spots are like new-2 week's finds

I'v found these coins in an areas that i've just POUNDED with my other detector. This is about 5 hunts worth. I'm not showing the 50 wheat pennies, lack of space.

what was your old detector?

What was the old detector?

And what is the new?

Nice finds!
DFX is my clad and jewelry machine. Explorer is for the deeper ones. The 1864 Indian (in the scan) I forgot to mention is from the site of the "invisible schoolhouse" AMC

Just keep putting yourself in the right places, do your research, hunt, hunt, hunt, the good ones will come. Last fall, after demonstrating the DFX to a couple family members, laughing, I vowed I would get something good. Went to my grade school built in 1962, and dug a mercury dime in the back playground. It was outside the play area by only 100', underneath a tree. My first time out and I scored a Merc.

Good hunting, AMC
