Around 6:00 pm last night my wife was doing homework, the kids was playing playstation 3 and I was feeling left out so I decided to go and do a quick 30 minute or so hunt in my backyard.
Well I started off finding penny after penny in a 10 foot area, then got bored of those quickly and decided to hit a spot close to one of my outbuildings and found a few more pennies, then I got a good quarter signal at 6 inches and slid my shovel through the soft dirt and removed the plug, ran my ace 250 over the plug and it was showing my quarter was in the plug. So I gently shook the plug and the quarter fell out and I picked it up and looked at it.
I can say iIwas surprised to find my first bicentennial qurter, even though it is very black from laying in the dirt.
Oh well, i'll take it anyways,
Have a great hunt all,
Allen
