I have ACE 250 and I like it. It has taken some time to learn the ups and downs, what tone is for what type of pull tab. The biggest thing for me was learning the pinpoint. I think my plugs are getting smaller and smaller. I found a dime a few weeks ago under 10 inches of old mulch and 2 inches of dirt and it was wet. I had the Sensitivity on 3 bars. I'm new to MD'ing but if you dig every tone you will find something........Not much salt water up my way can't help with that one

Oh Ya the dime was a 198?

i have the ace 250 it hates salt water and wet sand....

Jack, with more practice and the right settings you will have much better luck. I frequent the Gulf beaches here in FL and have had a great deal of success.
