Fourth Coin today, an 1862' IH at that!!!! :thumbsup:Couldn't believe it.I need a 63' and I'll be done for the CW era.

Nice work for a "unprofessional" digger!!!
For those that haven't heard, There was a private
tour guide at Antietam today that made a point to
let me know that he felt that a "Professional"
Archaeologist should be in charge of ANY
excavating of ANY relics, and that us "Unprofessional"
diggers did not do any preserving correctly.
I shared a laugh and a "My A$$" with him and his
group. Some of the people in his group stopped by the
truck on their way by to apologize for his mouth and
to check out what we had found so far.
Good thing Civilman wasn't in earshot, I would have
had to hold him back!!! LOL
There are so many uneducated, mouth running JERKS out there!!!
Enough said.

Nice work--we are 1862 IH Brothers today. Dug mine about 2pm. ;D The scale slide, the Awesome lead, the coin--all of it is Fantastic! Is that piece of a ring gold plated, or solid?

P.S.--You're a PRO--no matter what some $8/hour tour guide says. :D

Regards,

An awesome range of finds
I particularly like the shoulder scale attachment. I wonder how many people (including professionals) would have chucked that in their trash bag

Good stuff Joe. Fun to find a couple coins with the relics. Doesn't really look like the finds are thinning out that much. :)
