I was trying out my new 15X12 coil in my back yard. I have dug well over 100 plugs in this trashy yard since last April. This yard has more trash than a junk yard. To my surprise I got a solid hit at 74 VDI and areading of 1 cent at 10 inches. I cut the plug and dug. First I found an old lid from a soda can just about rusted out. Then I found a piece of slaw fairly large in size. I figured that must have been what I had read on my MXT. Before I filled the hole I ran my DX1 probe in the hole and got the solid penny reading. So I dug another couple inches and there she was right in the center of the hole my first Chauffeur License. It is copper and about one and a half inches wide. It amazes me that the coil found the license instead of the can slaw. I did have the Disc set at almost 5.

Great find and super detecting. All too often when trash is uncovered,it gets covered back up and any targets below go unfound.Always recheck before putting plug back in.Nice post.
