Today I went with Kenpa and Johnymc To an old spot we have pounded for years. Of course I took the new explorer SE and did pretty well. First target was a 1909 D Barber dime, The second was a 1913 D Buffalo nickle. and then finally an awesome 1898 Barber half.
nice day with Friends and got some good coins also.

Thanks ken for the transportation...
Thanks all for looking.

Hey T
Wow! Not the typical trip to the park. Now I'm real sorry I went away for Thanksgiving. I hope to get out Sunday.
Real nice coins.

WOW ~ nice finds man! Especially that 1913-D buffalo nickel, it is the type II reverse ~ buffalo standing on a "line" of dirt instead of a mound of dirt like the type I variety! In my 2007 RedBook the 1913-D Variety 2 catalogs at $95 in GOOD ~ but the variety 1 only catalogs at $12 in good.

AWESOME!!!

That 1913 D type 2 buffalo is awesome. A few years back I dug a '13 S type 2 that graded vf 22. I sold it then for $200. Its worth alot more now.

I have never found a barber half.

Sweet digs, thanks for sharing.

What a "Killer" day!!

Congrats on all your coin finds!

The SE can sure find them when all other machines have been through a site.
You might have missed a few even with the SE if that was your first time using the machine there. Go back another time just to be sure!!
