Wow Ant, looks like you've scored very well since your last post. Some awesome jewelry.
Is that a button made from a dime I'm seeing? :icon_scratch: Very neat find.

Hi Ant, did you find all of that stuff next to the railroad? What made you decide to hunt there? Is there a history behind it?

Nice haul, Anthony! Boy, I sure miss that Southern California sun, LOL. You look to have been somewhere near or in Riverside.

BTW, before I left CA I forgot to pm you the location of that old Catholic school so you could hit it yourself, but I'll get that info to you soon.

Most of these finds came from an old RR stop/ RR loading area. All of my silver finds came from there, but only one Gold find, the one with the black onyx and diamond setting.

I found 9 gold and 9 silver since the last time I posted. The old ring is the first gold find using my ML SE. It rang in loud and clear, clearer than a pull tab, more like a nickel. It was about 3” deep. Most of the find from this area have been from the 50’s. I have only hunted this site 2 times. That is also my first coin button, a 1941 mercury dime; I even pulled up an old Cubin cigar tin.

That puts me at 46 gold finds for this year, 1 for the SE and the rest for my GB-2. The other gold came from playgrounds.

I hunted this area because I know it is old and I know that a house was here years ago. Plus, after 911 I remember them clearing lots of trees that parrall the tracks at this crossing, lots of stuiff still left too.
Thanks again for all the nice words.

HH and thanks for looking.
