And thanks for the photo...it brought back some fine memories. I grew up in Montreal (till age 15) and remember the posted Silver coins very fondly.

Looking it up, it seems Canada kept the Silver for a few more years than the U.S. I really like the $1 and $2 coins available north of the border....battery money builds up faster.

Congrats on finding a half, I was hoping for one myself and didn't get one. This is the first year since 2001 that I didn't find a silver half dollar!! Sweet little collection of silver!!

nice silver! i found this 85 dime a few days ago on my own property i probley dropped it myself 20 years ago. what year did canada make silver dimes till. if this was american it would be brown by now. willy.
