Shaun7 joined me in the morning whilst Cru'dad was at church. He came & joined us later.

After lunch I tried the Upper Section whilst they continued on the Upper-Middle. See two dots in the field shot.

I did about six runs & then went back & joined them.

For the first time, Shaun7 had 6 Scrppies & I had only 4 (even with Dads help).

I'm pleased to say I got another cut hammered.

Nice Medieval Buckle
2 Roman Pin Heads
Medieval Knife Terminal

A very interesting Bronze object which has the patina to be Bronze Age. It seems complete but its function is a mystery, as its not pointy enough to be an awl.

So it looks like you guys get a hammered every hunt. Nice photos, Cru. Keep up the good work on that field. I wouldn't worry about the Scrappy totals this early. Especially not with a great silver in the pocket. ;D

Best Wishes,

Buckles

This year we are already on 8 (5 for XP, 3 for Cortes), I have put in more hours though. All from this field, which we normally only get 1 per year!

You should make that easy, Me and Michaels hammered count for last year was a 130 all from the same area.

Cool finds, looks like nice easy ground to dig in too. One the other hand that sure is a big field !
HH

Yeah, its bigger than I could show on both those pictures. But we plan to cover every bit of it.

Not older but maybe Saxon (although the acorn type could be medieval)

I hope your right, but most of our land is Roman.
