Hello!

I met up with Ron & Richard downtown today to do a little detecting! We had a great day! Here's what I dug:

1943-S Mercury Dime
1946-S Roosevelt Dime
1939-S Jefferson Nickel
1935-S Wheat Cent
1944-S Wheat Cent
one clad quarter
6 clad dimes
2 modern nickels
22 memorial cents

I also dug a lapen pin that reads, "PERAGIMUS" ~ what's that?!

The Merc & Rosie dimes are my 2nd & 3rd silver coin finds for 2009! At this rate I'm not going to beat my 2008 total of 104 for the year.

Thanks for looking!
Neil

Nice haul there Neil!
I don't think you'll have any problem breaking your last years total. Just one little silver coin every day or two and you'll be in great shape.
Go get 'em

Congrats on the great digs. I bet that "PERAGIMUS" is a military unit pin.

The silver is getting a little stingy for you so far this year, huh Neil?

That's okay. Just relax, don't think about numbers, and get out there and have a great time with your hunting buds.

Congrats on your finds!!

The silver was a little harder to find in this area
probably because we have pounded it so many times
in the past. Congrats on the silver finds. Just goes to
prove that no area is hunted out completely. See you guys
tomorrow morning... Gold Nuggets :icon_jokercolor:

Nice finds there Neil!

Sounds like you did pretty good to me for a pounded up park. Any day with a couple silver is a good day!
Keep it up, and get out more at lunch.., where you excel.

Nice finds!!

Two silvers and one is a gorgeous Merc? Plus a military pin? There's nothing disappointing about that! :o

Don't sweat the numbers or you won't be happy until you break last years totals.

Hey, at least you can still hunt...
