found today Old brown glass bottle

I found this at my great great grandfathers home sight today its never been hunted its an old glass bottle on the bottom it says 4 OZ with a line under and the letter I nothing else. lots of steel an old sickel, what i believe to be a hoe. lots of interesting things to be found, there were 3 houses his and two slave homes an old cellar ect. he moved here in the late 1800s and the land is still in the family any tips on hunting it im new any advice would be great and im using a bounty hunter pioneer 505 if that helps today was my second time out.

Welcome to Treasure Net, nice bottle, only advice I can give you metal detecting is to take it slow, make a grid of the property & dig everything.

Looks like a Purex bleach bottle. I have 2 on top of my bookcase. One found after a barn was tore down,and one from a trash dump. One of mine still has the cork.
