Yesterdee, Poking Froze Dirt fer a Diamond Ring, Taday, Relic Huntin in tha 70's
That’s right!
Yesterday I was at tha girls softball complex chopin froze dirt
with my new digger I made.
I tried around tha dug-outs, but tha rootless ground was harder
than ice.
So I decided to hunt tha grass where tha parkin lot slopes off
at tha edge.
This was easier at dig, but it was solid tabs.
I was cold and tired. I was cleanin out a spot with multiple
signals, and look what came out!
Tha diamonds are real. Don’t know what tha red stones are.
Now that made my day. I am still charged up about that ring.
My new digger is tha best hand digger I have ever used.
One day later,
They were callin for warmer weather, so I took a nap and at
11:00am I was relic huntin at one of my spots down tha road
from my house. It’s under construction, but tha work seems
to have come to a stand still.
I was itchin at get tha Vaquero cranked up.
I got a shock right out of tha car. My first target was a tab signal.
I thought, “well here we go again”.
But look what came out of tha ground.
Fresh dug:
Cleaned up:
Usually, I have a hard time finding more stuff when something
like that happens.
So I buckled down and got in a zone.
Then I found my only coin for tha day. A 1921 wheaty.
Then I found this old farm implement.
Well, I seemed to be doin alright.
And then I got a trashy iron signal. But something said dig
Lookie what I found,,,,,,,,Heee Heee,
OK, what’s next
How about a brass belt buckle?
Not bad, hugh
Now I find a lead what’s-it with a paten number. I will have to
clean it some more before I can read tha number.
Here’s tha mess. Some of it didn’t make it this far. I chunked
some of it in a construction debris pile.
Here’s some I cleaned a little.
By 2:00pm, I was off to lunch before pikin up tha kid.
Now, That was a lot warmer, hugh?
Thanks for comin along on my Arkie Relic Hunt,
