Repost: First three months 2004
When Marc imported old messages into the new forum all new stuff were lost.
Just thought I'd repost this for all who missed it.

148 hours underwater detecting time for 150+ jewerly items.

Underwater meaning shorebreak to six feet deep.
Sometime 25 feet with scuba gear.

I haven't done much diving in several years... when detecting, do you go alone, or with someone? What precautions do you take?

always go alone, PI detectors interfere within 50 feet of each other.
When I go 25 to 35 feet it's in an area where the local Scuba, Snuba tours
do their shore dives, so always someone around.
