Well shucks! It's been a long drought since I found anything really interesting. I took my ACE with the Stinger coil and ran the edge of a concrete jogging trail yesterday morning. I usually find a pocket full of quarters along these trails, but it was not to be. I only found one clad quarter several pennies and a small 925 silver earring. I found several unidentified small metal objects which look like pieces of parts dropped off mowing equipment. Can't wait until first frost when the weeds and bugs are killed off so I can visit some excellent sites I have identified. The daytime temps are still up in the 90s here and a big cool down is due within the next few weeks. KS aka JIM

Jim/Ks,
Yep I'm waiting on that frost also. I have a few old homesites form around the 1900's that are covered up in weeds.

Can't wait until it cools off.
