yesterdays find

here is some finds from a few hours hunt at a old YMCA farm the coins were inside the match safe in front of the outhouse about 5 inch's down,the button was around 4 inch's down in the same area the glass lady was on top of the ground where they use to pitch there junk over a hill side my brother and his son are going to go back there and do some digging in the old outhouse hole which is filled in now as soon as the ground thaws out some more

They cleaned up very well. What method did you use?

i use a ultrasonic that has a heater in it with dish soap and for the copper coins i put in 2 denture cleaning tablets.to finish the silver i use mothers mag cream polish

Very Nice Finds! I have been using baking soda and a little bit of water to clean the copper, takes a while. I will try the denture tablets! Thanks!

if you are going to use the tablets get the water boiling first the put the tablet in the the coin but use a deep dish it foams up a lot
