3 Silver Coins, 1 Old Striling Ring, Rail Road Nail, Rail Road Key, Buttons, and

I hit one of the usual spots this past weekend and came up on several items like a 1951 Quarter, a 43 Mercury Dime, a 1946 Roose, a Sterling Silver ring, a dated Railroad Nail (1949), another FRAIM Rail Road barrel key, a Engineer Coat button, a Air Force Button and a strange unmarked button, a strange 1956 1 C Mexican coin (I think it was part of a bracelet or something), oh and 5 wheat’s.
Does anybody know what the design on the flat button represents; it almost looks like a brand mark or something?

Nice digs. Not sure about the button. The lower part of the picture has the handle looking thing. Most likely a stem from a 1905 Model A Ford tire. Cool stuff all the way around. jgas

Just a note were they cut the ring can be repaired by a jeweler. They need to remove the stone to safely do so. What are the makers marks on it.

Nice finds! The Engineer Coat button came off a denim outercoat that railroad workers used to favor. They were longer in length than the modern jean jacket. It is a railroader button for sure if found with a switch key and other railroad items. Pretty interesting. I have one of those old coats around here somewhere and if I get a chance I'll take a photo of it for you.

The ring is marked Handmade and Sterling, no other marks.

The ring was found within 10 feet of the button in question. I thought that the ring looked hippish too, a nice teardrop style. But I think the button has more of a Western American Native style. As far as bones, as a matter of fact I have uncovered several of what I believe to be K-9 bones, nothing human as far as I know.
