Took a hike in the woods today. Found a few relics. (Door bell photo added)

[Old River]

Went to an old homesite about two miles up the river today. Had lots of trees down from the hurricane last year which made it a little difficult to get to. It dates back to the mid 1800's. Found a few things in a couple of hours. Will go back later to do more searching.

The little bell in the center makes a beautiful sound. When you ding it it rings for a while. From what I can find this is a part of a victorian door bell. Photo added.

Nice finds! It's alot of fun poking around those old homesteads, you just never know what you might turn up!

Nice finds It's snowing here. I'll have to wait another week until the temps' warm up.. Minnesota.

Hope the snow melts soon. I wanted to go back to the site in the woods today, but it started raining as soon as I got out of my truck. Oh well will have to make it another time. I got to go celebrate my Birthday today any way. Happy hunting, and good luck.
