today I detected an older home, and no silver but I did dig this super 1913 wheat, and it is a real beauty! Also found this other one that was stamped, thought it was kinda cool

the 1913 was green but after the bath in peroxide it went away

I found this explanation online. Seems to make sense...
"Years ago, the stamped penny was a popular Masonic souvenir, in some areas it was Representative of a "day's wages" as part of the Fellow Craft Degree, and sometimes it was simply a custom to get a Masonic penny with the same year as you were made a Mason. Copper pennies are soft and easy to stamp, unlike silver or alloy coins of higher value.
Many Masons carried these around in their pockets for years, and eventually got it mixed up with their pocket change and spent it."
