Well at least it's not a shotgun shell

Well it's been a while since I've posted anything partly because shotgun shells and aluminum cans are boring and partly because I hav'nt been out hunting. Anyhow........my good friend and co-worker dcooper1 got me inspired to go out and dig and I'm glad I did. After doing a quick "recon" on a new area I just recently got permission to hunt I settled on what looked to be an old road. After about an hour of digging up a billion shotgun shells >:(, it started to rain and I said to myself "I've had enough I'm going home" just when I decided to go home I got a solid signal on my xlt. When I dug it up, it was this old flat button. Now I'm all fired up to get out and MD some more.

Thanks for looking

Good job JC!!!!
That's a nice looking Colonial Copper.
Nice patina, good job on the cleaning, you must have a "secret" method ;D
Another example of "dig everything", you just never know!!!

Nice. I just wish I could get out. The itch is really bad. Maybe I'll have to take a trip south for a week.

Happy Hunting..

Thanks everybody for the compliments. twin digger, I don't know where you live but here in Va it's been a colder than usual winter. I would wait until late march for a trip here.
