The sad truth my friend is that there are some dark, disappointing days.
More of them than I care to admit, and this was one of them.

Laugh at my misfortune if you will.
But I am resolved to turn over a new leaf in 2009.
I will post EVERYTHING that I find.
The disgusting, the vile, the corroded and unrecognizable.
It will be shocking for some to have to journey with me along the dark underbelly of this hobby.
But there will be better days, better finds ahead.

A prime selection of junk.
Picture 004.jpg
$2.22 in clad (Just for you Kane!)
Picture 013.jpg
Some cheap buttons and a couple tax tokens.
Picture 015.jpg
A make up compact and an ear tag.
Picture 012.jpg
6 wheat pennies 1914-1958
Picture 007.jpg
And the star of our show, a commemorative coin from 1917.

Well, I guess it wasnt a total bust but it was awfully close.
The commemorative coin was the rabbit in the hat.

Great commemoritive!!

Do I see a brass hose nozzle peeking out of that pile? I dug one too. It still works. It's the most useful find I've ever dug.

You guys are right of course.
Its just that wheats and clad dont do anything for me.
The only reason I like finding a wheat on a site is that I can put a date on a place or layer of dirt.
I even offered to send a couple hundred wheats to a lady on here when she found her first one as a congrats (I guess she didnt want them either).
I have hundreds and hundreds of wheats but I guess its like an addict,
always searching for the rush of a great find.
Thanks guys!
And best of luck to you.

What happened? Usually your postings were so good. Why are you posting this garbage? I always look for good postings which is hard to find. Most are like what you posted today. Have some self respect and don't post unless it was like your previous listings. You sunk to a new low so keep it real. Good day!
