Hi,

In researching a shotshell I found recently, I learned that the markings were refered to as 'headstamps'. And rather than being refered to as shot gun shells, shotshells is the term. I was able to find that the shells were made by Gambles stores (1956- ) and I also came across a picture of the 12 ga. box too! So, no definite date but good research none the less.
