i know i was bitching about how dry it is but this is ridiculous! its been one 24 hour long downpour here since last nite and there is no end in sight. i did go out anyway but the finds were meager to say the least. i wouldnt even post them exept for the fact that i agreed in another thread to post everything i found,so here is the grand ::) total for today;
1- washington quarter
1-roosevelt dime
2-lincoln memorial cents
and a crummy pair of tweezers!
i went to a pond where people used to swim and this place has been pounded. there wasnt even a pulltab or a bottlecap to be found.i wont be going back there again any time soon. anyway,wish i had more to report. :'( hopefully the rain will slow down for tommorrow. i can handle mud and drizzle.....just not torrential downpours and puddles!

yeah it has been raining here for about 36 hours, not hard but nonstop.....went to the park for about an hour this evening in the mist...found 17 cents in clad and about 30 older pull tabs...bummer....still haven't really got to try out my new Prizm III but it isn't supposed to rain tomorrow (fingers crossed) although it is only supposed to be around 50-55 degrees, fall is here i guess and it came in a hurry........HH

I think the rain is letting up here in Upstate NY. Now to find a place to dock my boat, ring out my house, and wait for the water to recede.... :P

Yesterday I learned that although rain makes digging easier, lots of rain makes digging messier. My plugs kept falling apart, almost like digging in mud!

Today the digging was much better. My plugs almost looked like the rest of the grass once I filled them in and tamped em down.
