Today's Find
I detected at my Grandma & Grandpa's house today. The house was built in 1949 with a 1963 addition,, so I figured there had to be older stuff there. First hit was a 1967 dime. Also got a 1969 Canadian penney (Which looks like it's been there since 1969!!) a 1973 memorial, and 2 1975 memorials. Also got my second ever Wheatie, a 1953-D. I was kinda dissapointed I didn't find any silver, I was really hoping there would be some here. My grandma tells me that the guy who lived there before them was very stingy, so I assume he didn't carry too much money around. Also got a lot of false signals. But the Wheatie was worth it!!
Sorry they're so cruddy, I haven't had time to clean them yet. I'll post them again after I've cleaned them. And please ignore the fact that the '73 penny is upside-down.
