Hey guys
I dug this button last yr and i dont think i ever shared it as it was before i joined. Anyways its an early naval button. I believe war of 1812 era. The back mark is AM PEASLEY BOSTON. I've been told its a valuable button but i have no idea how much.
thanks for lookin,
Keith

P.S. i also included a button i dug yesterday. Its a nice flower design about the size of a quarter and the backmark is Leavenworth CO. extra rich. Im assuming its just a civilian button, any ideas feel free to let me know.

Great button, that would be at the top of my button display case if I unearthed it.

Your Leavenworth & Co. flower button dates c. 1839-49.

(Note: there are c. 1820's documents mentioning Leavenworth & Co. buttons, but it is thought that these actually refer to Leaventworth, Hayden & Scovill, a different firm.)
