It's Spring Break. Kids out a school. I decided to drive
the one hour trip Pine Bluff.

Pine Bluff is a historic town in Arkie Land, and it hasn't
been depleted by Tabdog.

I got started in an old park. I was diggin a bunch of ate
up pennies and a couple of nickles, and then my Mom
called.

" YOU REMEMBER MY DOCTOR"S APPOINTMENT
AT 10:00, DON"T YOU??

Well, I had to hi-tail it back ta Home Base before my
mom was late for her doctor's appt.

No time for pics.

This is all I found. 90% of tha pennies were trashed.

It took for ever at tha doctors office. I ate a little lunch.

Took mom to eat. Then I took her home, and went to tha
pharmacy to get her prescription filled.

Wollie-World said it would be 45 minutes.

8 hours into this day, half a tank of gas, and nada???

I had half an hour, so I headed to a near-by tot lot.

Tha next 30 minutes would change my perception of
tha whole day.

I met a nice family, with a few darling children.

Then, CABOOOM!!!!

A GOLD RING!!!!!!

Right under this old oak tree.

It's really small. but it's gold.

I looked down, and to my surprise, there was
one of them Arkie Bilfolds!!!

You know tha ones??? about 4" thick???lol

I looked inside, money and credit cards everywhere.
Then I saw that guys picture on his driver's license.
They had just drove out.

I searched until I found his phone number. I called.

I said " HAY, ARE YOU DRIVIN WITHOUT A LICENSE"?

There was silence for a few seconds. Then I heard,

"I LOST MY #@!?^&$ BILLFOLD!!!!!!"

I said, " it's OK, just come on back to tha park and
I'll give it back ta ya".

Man, You talk about a happy lookin fellow.

He tried to give me some money, but I just couldn't
take it.

Tha day turned out real nice after all.

Just don't give up.

Lookie here. This is all I had to dig to score a gold
ring.
