Went to a local "closed" factory this morning from the 1800s.. I knew the place was full of "crap" as I had been there before to check the ground conditions, etc. I don't believe it's ever been detected before (or at least not very well)! There is metal stampings, car parts, iron, junk, cans, crap and everything you can imagine in the ground "everywhere", but, I managed a LOT of good stuff, and some NOT so good stuff too!

This time I went with the intention to hunt the grounds in "old skool style"..

I set the machine on the highest level of discrimination I could, and dug ONLY repeatable strong targets/signals.. (otherwise known in the "old days" as "cherry picken for silver")!

Below is what I found, and no, I didn't stay long enough to see if there was a body attached to the gold tooth & jaw bone!!

I don't believe so Jeff, but, there does seem to be some material other than bone in this thing.

Onion PM'd me, and said I should take it to the cop shop (as someone else mentioned here too).

I believe I'll put it in a ziplock bag, and take it there tomorrow (just in case it belonged to a victim of sorts).

The gold is worthless in my book, I don't need or want it, and it may be part of a crime that I can help with in some way by turning it over to the police.

HH all

Nice digs, Lonewolfe! Great bunch of silver and old coins you found there! Congrats!

Speaking as a LEO, (and not one looking to score some free gold), I do think it would be wise to discuss your find with the local PD at least. There could be more there (hopefully not), but that could be some key evidence to something that in the long run would be more valuable than it's weight in gold.

Keep us posted buddy... best of luck on the tooth.

OK I'm convinced you just found Jimmy Hoffa.

Now if that is a front tooth then maybe we have the wrong person.

It could be this guy.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! i never realised superman had such nice hair!! as far as the tooth goes........it looks more to me like a piece of a sculpture or something. it doesnt really look like decomposing soft tissue in the pic.if it were really from a cadaver, i doubt you would have wanted to bring it home. :P awesome digs on the coins lonewolf. all of the sites like that around here have only yielded crap!!

I hope they don't consider you a suspect for wanting to do the right thing. I can here the detective saying: ?" so your STORY is that you found it how?" I'm joking.
It does look like a denture that was either burnt or maybe has something stuck to it.
I'm sure everything will be OK. Nice silver.

Great job again LW! More gold & silver too. I beleive that Onion finds a lot of his rings using the same method, only dig ALL repeatable signals.

I wish I could find cool things like that! Very nice coins and "stuff", I'd be going back with a small coil and spending a lot of time!
