1000 year old Viking cache

A Danish metal detectorist found a 1000 year old Viking cache.

Still being excavated with museum assistance, but so far 41 silver coins, 1 silver bracelet, 1 half of a Thorshammer. Coins of Muslim and Russian origin. Bracelet and hammer are Scandinavian. That's a find.

Actually he has now found 50 complete of these arabian silvercoins, called dirhems (they are often cut to pieces)
A great find
