Colonial Jetton, Flying Eagle, 1800's Silver, Cast Button, Eagle "I" Button

Take your pick!!! I got something in almost every category today.
Hunting the 1760's house that Joe and I got all of our colonial large
coppers from. The ground was alive!
I know that this a Jetton (it says it), but other than that, I can't
identify it.



This Eagle "I" button has skinny wings with round feather(?).
The backmark is "Superior Quality".



1858 Flying Eagle (my first) and 1879 Indian.



My first cast button with a backmark "Rich Gold Colour".



1800's Canadian Dime with "Mon Etoilet" or "Mon Etoile" etched on reverse.



I had a GREAT time!!! And, YES, I am going back!!!

This brass jeton is generally listed as German or at least Continental in origin and attributed as c. 1815. The illegible word on the obverse is Lohn. Sieg und Lohn means something like "Victory and Reward." Here's a similar example valued at €20, or about $27:

Ty, once again you do not fail to impress with your finds! Hard to pick a favorite out of this batch, but for me, it is the silver dime with "My Star" engraved on it in French. Truly a one of a kind personal item that had significant meaning for someone a long time ago, and surely caused heartache when lost.
