Got back to the farm I have been working all Spring. They are starting to plant, so I finished up some of the smaller fields in the back of the farm. What a difference from the main field. Nothing but iron signals for the most part. I did find a few interesting items. I got my fourth flat (Tombac?) button, a 1985 nickel, a nice heart shaped brass hinge, and the largest bullet (I think) that I've ever seen. Measures about .45" diameter and 1.1" long. Looks like the modern 3 ringer. Even has a cone center on the tail end.

Thanks jorge del norte. I have a friend of a friend that works for Starret's. They are the best. Also, "acquired" a nice 1" O.D. micrometer.
