Got out to a old 1858 home site Sunday,Sites six blocks from old court house.Don't think its ever been MD be for to much to find.found items 2 to 6 inch deep,and only searched half the yard.Site is going under the dozer soon as well as a old house next door.Has got to be a lot in the ground once the ground is scraped.Old house has been used as apartments for quite a while.Found old Disney Dick Tracy car and Disney watch.Brass city sewage div,lock $2.41? in change.half of a vintage ladies belt buckle with dogwood blooms on it.Old metal train engine that has been cut up by mower,what a waste.found a chunk of lead that has been melted down into a muffin pan,I think its lead.Yard gave up no silver but all was not lost.On the way home i stopped at a soda machine and got a 1966 IKE dime in change no digging at all.I hate to see a old house torn down for a new bank or quick mart,but i look forward to the chance to MD once the ground has been scraped.HH-jarman? ?
